Lots of fun going on right now. Good friends Alan Borges and Eric Banco went on a crazy adventure with Dustin. They headed 5 hours North to the Kilchis River out of Tillamook. Dustin looked at water flows, followed the weather ended up making some right calls for an excellent adventure with lots of fish; nice Chinnook and Chum Salmon!!

Just one more of his crazy days that worked out great!!

11-12, Crowded, time to get sneeky

Man it was busy today, holiday deal I guess.  There are still quite a few new fish entering the chetco, enough to make it worth while any way.  I did my usual bottom end deal, got a couple Brand new ones, missed a couple more so it was a ok morning.  I think if a guy had it to him self it would  be world class, but today there was 50 boats maybe more.  There was some new ones that came on the head of the tide today, but there was also 15 boats on the bottom end buy 10 am.  I had to bail, went to a sneaky spot and there was a couple more caught.  My buddy jack saved his day buy getting a couple nice new ones at the end.  I hear that the sixes and elk are cranking, but I cant stand the crowd.  Any way, we are slammed, and I hope that the weather patterns keep water flowing.

Well, I am back, Jessica just showed me how to do this blog deal.  Its cool, Today is the first time I have even had the time to look at our new suite.  I'm stoked on the whole deal.

Well back to fishing, its been great, I struggled today, got a couple but fished till dark, it was lame, lots of leaves, but it was what it was.  Yesterday we got em all, as well as the day before, so good enough.  I did do something cool yesterday though, I won a fish fight with a seal.  Bastard grabbed one of our fish, but I chased him down and after a solid hour of me running him down he let go.  Its the fish in the bottom photo.  I was 0-4 in previous ordeals.  Also this blog is interactive, cool.

Be in touch.  Dustin

Fishing continued on Friday with ladies day. It was a little slow start but in the end it turned out great taking home limits as well as an opportunity for a few extra's hooked, landed and released. On Saturday for the Overton group it didn't turn out quite so well. Fish rolling all around, three at a time, but none rolling and hooking and there lines

Fall Salmon Season in Oregon and California

Sorry for the delay in getting a report up.
We had some rain the end of October this year and raised the rivers and fishing started happening. The Chetco River was even open up a week earlier. It hasn't rained in a while but catching is still going on.
