Alaska Hooksetter Lodge is located in Kenai.
I will have the good fortune of managing Alaska Hoosetters Lodge in the summer of 2013.
As a vacation destination, Alaska Hooksetters Lodge offers a unique ambiance and vacation packages for any budget. Filled with amenities like the covered gazebo fire pit and outdoor appetizer bar, this fishing and vacation lodge located in Kenai is perfect for families, friends, fishing groups, clubs, corporations, and couples alike.
A 4200 sqft main lodge built from logs is the centerpiece at Alaska Hooksetters, nestled on five acres of land adjoining 440 acres of protected forest. The lower level is a great choice for families
Comfortable Kenai Cabins
Cabins sleep 2-3 people.
In addition to the main lodge, Alaska Hooksetters has four private cabins that can accommodate 2-3 people each.
Fishing for world record King Salmon, abundant Sockeye and Silver Salmon and trophy Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden on the Kenai and Kasilof rivers, or fishing for Halibut in Cook Inlet, or fishing for grayling in a remote lake on a fly-out trip, is second to none. Our fishing partner Russell Fishing Company will cater to your every need whether you are a novice or experienced fisherman. Conventional, spinning and fly fishing techniques are available for all targeted species.
All Inclusive Alaska Lodge

Home style meals are served daily in the yurt dining hall, wine is served with dinner and snacks and sift drinks are available to guests at any other time throughout the day.
An Alaska Vacation Destination that “Makes Memories”
Alaska Hooksetters Lodges philosophy and perspective on Alaska vacations is different. "Alaska Hooksetters Lodge wants to build memories. Surely a 70lb king salmon, a 300lb halibut or a 10lb rainbow will do that. But so will sharing stories around a covered fire pit or walking the gray soft sand beach near the mouth of the mighty Kenai River. What could be more memorable than a hike along a river or through a lush landscape taking photos of the wildlife; a grizzly bear and her cubs, a moose and her newborn calves, or an eagle soaring above the trees. As the years pass us by, the fondest recollections of your Alaska vacation may be the solitude of your surroundings, the call of the loon, the magnificent and breathtaking mountains where they rise from Cook Inlet, or the fabulous Midnight Sun."
Other Alaska adventures on the Kenai Peninsula include hiking, rafting, canoeing, birding, flying, horseback riding, beach combing, wildlife viewing, sightseeing and cruising to name a few.
The Kenai river, Kasilof river, Cook Inlet, Homer, Seward and many other lakes, streams and rivers offer countless vacation choices.
I personally have spent 25 summers on the Kenai Peninsula and am still amazed on what there is to do. Of all the lodges and outfitters I have experienced, Alaska Hooksetters Lodge is the best vacation destination in Alaska.
